On Edisto, the marsh breathes with the tide, filling and emptying twice a day. Light scatters across the water and through the grasses, and palms lean into the wind. These paintings follow that rhythm of release and renewal, joined with small textile studies I made in Ireland, where stitched cloth carries the memory of a different shoreline. Together they extend my Tide Carriers series into landscape: a place to set something down and let the water carry it.
