I enjoy the challenge of working with a variety of materials and textures in an unconventional way. Over the years I have realized my attraction to abandoned building is a subliminal theme in many of my pieces. Grids show up as barriers, objections that over time are discarded and forgotten, now a nuisance to our environment and a sense of something lost. The colors in the pieces, to me, represent hope for the future. I can only hope when someone views my work they will connect with their own meaningful interpretation.
